ARM HARNESS - 14TH CENTURY
This arm harness is inspired by several effigies from the mid-14th century, including the effigy of Gottfried, Count of Arensberg (d. 1370). This arm harness is made up of three pieces which are pointed (attached) over top of the maille of extra protection. The shoulder piece is referred to as an "Epaulette", the upper arm splint is a "Rerebrace", and the elbow protection shown is a "Rondel" but can be upgraded to more substantial "Couter".
